Yttria Stabilized Tetragonal Zirconia
Description
Reviews
A certain amount of the stabilizer Yttria is used to improve the performance of Zirconia Ceramics as per customers’ applications.
● 2 ~ 4 mol % Yttrium stabled Zirconia, namely Tetragonal Polycrystal Zirconia (TZP). Compared to other Ceramics Materials, TZP has the best integrated mechanical properties at room temperature. It is called ceramic stell because of its excellent fracture toughness.
● 4 to 8 mol % Yttrium stabled Zirconia called Yttrium full stabilized Zirconia (YSZ). YSZ is ionic electric conductive when the temperature is higher than 600℃, because of its peculiar microstructure. It can be used fields such as electrolyte of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC), Oxygen Sensor, Material Purification, etc.
